What to Look for in a Low Carb Diet

Low-carb diets have been around for a long time, but there are few health studies which come out firmly in favour of them. There are advantages in them, the main one being that there is a rapid initial weight loss. This is because the excess water retained by the body is flushed out of the system along with the toxins that have accumulated in it. However this is true of almost every weight loss diet.
