Interval training has become more and more prevalent over the past 10 years. It is becoming more and more a mainstay in fitness gyms around the world. Interval training allows your body to maximize calorie expenditure in a shorter period of time allowing your body to burn additional fight. There are various forms of interval training all of which should be incorporated into your workout. On a treadmill, in order for it to be considered interval training the intensity and on certain occasions vary the incline as a way to challenge your body and maximize calorie expenditure. Interval training on a treadmill has its strong points as well as its disadvantages.
